Description
CD96, also known as T-cell surface protein tactile isoform 2, belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Also, it is a type I membrane protein. It is commonly used as cell markers in immune-phynotyping. This protein may play a role in the adhesive interactions of activated T and NK cells during the late phase of the immune response. It may also function in antigen presentation. Recombinant human CD96, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques
